Breast Issues
Breast issues can include a range of conditions such as breast pain, lumps, and discharge. Some breast issues may be benign, while others may require further investigation. In early cases, treatment options include lifestyle changes, medications, langhana, pachana, anulomana and shodhanas. Pachana is emphasised here in order to remove all deep-seated toxins. Apart from these, upgraded nutrition and personalised herbal protocol, individual therapies include Vamanna, Virechanam, Vasti and so on.
Breast pain (mastodynia)
Breast pain, also known as mastodynia, is a common symptom experienced by many women. The pain can range from mild discomfort to severe pain and can occur in one or both breasts. Causes of breast pain include hormonal changes, breast injuries, cysts, and certain medications.
Breast infection, such as mastitis
Breast infection, such as mastitis, is an inflammation of the breast tissue that can cause pain, swelling, and redness. Mastitis is most commonly experienced by women who are breastfeeding, but can also occur in non-lactating women. Treatment for mastitis typically involves antibiotics and pain relief medications.
Galactorrhea (flow of milk from breast unassociated with childbirth or nursing)
Galactorrhea is the flow of milk from the breast unrelated to childbirth or nursing. This can be caused by hormonal imbalances, medications, or certain medical conditions such as pituitary gland tumours. Treatment for galactorrhea depends on the underlying cause and may include medication or surgery.
