Kidney Diseases
Kidney diseases are conditions that affect the functioning of the kidneys, such as chronic kidney disease, kidney stones, and kidney infections. They can cause symptoms like fatigue, swelling, and changes in urine output. Ayurveda’s natural and holistic program may include Panchakarma, juice and water therapies, mud and steam therapies, herbo-mineral therapy, gut-tissue protocol, fasting and nutrition and lifestyle changes for a faster and more complete recovery.
Nephrotic syndrome
Nephrotic syndrome is a kidney disorder characterized by high levels of protein in the urine, low levels of protein in the blood, swelling in the legs, and a higher risk of developing infections. It is caused by damage to the small blood vessels in the kidneys, which results in increased permeability and loss of protein. Treatment includes medications to reduce swelling, control blood pressure, and prevent infections, as well as dietary changes.
Nephritis
Nephritis refers to inflammation of the kidneys, which can cause a range of symptoms including blood in the urine, fever, fatigue, and high blood pressure. The most common cause of nephritis is an infection, but it can also be caused by autoimmune disorders, medications, or toxins. Treatment depends on the underlying cause but may include antibiotics, corticosteroids, and immunosuppressants
Chronic Kidney diseases
Chronic kidney disease is a long-term condition in which the kidneys gradually lose their function over time. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including high blood pressure, diabetes, and kidney infections. Symptoms may not be apparent until the disease has progressed to an advanced stage. Treatment includes managing underlying conditions, medications to control symptoms, and in severe cases, dialysis or kidney transplantation.
